I have a need to pre-load many images and within a mouse move event locate a specific image and display.

Obviously there are many ways to accomplish this but what I am after is the most time efficient way to accomplish as this process will be called on each mouse move event many times over and speed is of the essence.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Andy

Even loading one image during a mouse move event would drastically affect your performance. Are you sure there is not a better way to handle what you need (such as preloading all the images on form loading, preferably with some kind of caching...)
