Hello, i have a question about this process.

Now in 6.2.2 version, I need load a RAW files preview in the ImageenFolderMView... If i copy ielib32.dll or ielib64.dll in the program path load well the raw files in ImageenMView, but crash when i try show more than ten RAW files in ImageenFolderMView.

My question is: How can i do, to show RAW thumbnails with the most speed possible?

Reading in the forum i found some ways, one of them is dcraw, that i think its inside ielib*, how can i set "-e" (for extract jpg thumb) and for example, save the output file?

My workflow for raw files at this moment is like this:

1: -Change dir
2: -If RAW not indexed in BDD: Resize and save with little dimensions the thumbnail in JPG, if file found in BDD loads the jpg thumbnails.
3: -Index in BDD filenames, size, etc

The second step runs fine, but however its slow the first time that have resize all files.

Someone can help to give me a way to do this?

Thanks alot.

Jorge.

Hi Jorge

Firstly, if ImageEnMView is crashing when displaying a folder for RAW files, please give us more detail so we can reproduce and fix.

Yes, Dcraw is inside ielib. The -e option is set via Params.RAW_GetExifThumbnail. This is enabled automatically in ImageEnMView if the displayed thumbnail is smaller than the RAW thumbnail (so ImageEnMView1.StoreType must be ietThumb of ietFastThumb and ImageEnMView1.ThumbWidth and ThumbHeight must be less than 200).
