As you will have seen with the release of 8.0.0, we are implementing much more functionality into our TIELayer class. TIELayers offer much improved vector, image and text layer functionality over the older TImageEnVect with a modern programming interface.
While TImageEnVect will always be supported, if you are an exiting TImageEnVect user, you may want to consider transitioning to TIELayers to take advantage of the new functionality.
