We have now released ImageEn, v14.2.0, the latest update to our image editing and display library for Delphi/C++Builder, and IEVision Advanced Tools Add-on 8.1.6. These updates are free if you purchased a license or extension after 15 July 2024:

Important Compatibility Information
To include native format support, you now must add ieNativeJPEG, ieNativePNG, ieNativeJ2K to the uses clause of at least one of the units of your project.

Top Fifteen Enhancements in ImageEn v14.2.0
1. Native PNG and JPEG2000 support is now optional. By default, they are not compiled into your project. To include them, add ieNativePNG and ieNativeJ2K to the uses clause of a project unit (ieNativeJPEG should also be included as it will be optional in a future release)
2. The Debugging Visualizer has been significantly enhanced. You can now modify ImageEn objects, bitmaps and color variables, including editing of images. Also, much more debugging information is output, and keyboard shortcuts are supported
3. Improved debugging information when hovering of ImageEn variables and bitmaps
4. Debug information can be displayed over TImageEnView and TImageEnMView control windows while debugging, including the status of all DLLs and imaging engines
5. Many improvements to the Proc Previews dialog including better localization, removal of isolated pixels and feathering when setting transparency
6. Improvements to TIFF support (including non-standard formats) and TIFF handling methods including easier insertion of images and progress during slow operations
7. New mouse interaction allowing the user to scroll the image/PDF while the space bar is pressed
8. Many enhancements to PDFium support including a popup text editor for PDF objects and annotations, insertion and arrangement of objects by z-order, and support for external links
9. TImageEnMView Print Dialog allows the user to specify images by index
10. Encryption and decryption of streams and text using standard algorithms: MD2, MD4, MD5, SHA1, SHA256, SHA384 and SHA512
11. Improved support for Delphi 64bit IDE (Note: 64bit IDE does not support debugging visualizers or IDE menu customization as yet)
12. Enhancements to TIEFolderTree and WindowsSelectDirectory() including auto-expansion of the current folder and new display options: foBrowseIncludeURLs, foBrowseFileJunctions, foComputersOnly, foPrintersOnly
13. New Color Palettes: Magma, Inferno, Plasma, Viridis, Cividis, Twilight, Turbo, Berlin, Managua, Vanimo
14. Through performance testing we have replaced some internal methods for more optimized Delphi ones
15. Updated LibRaw to v0.21.4 for improved camera raw image support
