As to how far would the the graphics card in the PC influence the speed of applying a zoom filter or resizing a static (large, 400 Mpixel) image?

Hi Jan

It should not really have much effect. The CPU should have the biggest factor for zoom filter performance. There is big variance in performance for the various zoom filters, so ensure you determine the one that works best for your needs.

Note: When loading large images, ensure TImageEnView.LegacyBitmap = False

ImageEn will then use memory as much as possible, but switch to file handling with large images.

Hi Nigel,

Thank you, just what I wanted to know for sure. I already found the best zoom filters for my application but was not sure what the graphics hardware might contribute.
